History of Japanese Culture Society

Multimedia University (MMU) is the first ever private university in Malaysia. This university was established in the year 1996 by Telekom Malaysia Berhad and was previously known ad University Telekom. It consists of two twinning campuses situated in Malacca and Cyberjaya.

Japanese Cultural Society (JCS) of Multimedia University (Cyberjaya Campus) was the first founded in the year 2002. Japanese Cultural Society is considerable young but well established society in the University. Japanese Cultural Society is a cultural based society which formed by a number of undergraduates and students of and in MMU to share the common interest in knowing Japanese culture and its community. Its also serve as a basis to bring a closer ties with the Japan community and MMU.

The main objective is to introduce and have a better understanding into knowing the in-dept of Japanese distinctive and unique culture and also its language (Nihon-go). And also expose Japanese culture to all MMU student through activities associated with Japanese culture.

By organizing this event which is considered the biggest event JCS has ever organized, we hope to achieve another objective: To promote Japanese Culture, its people and all Japanese related activities to all the community in Malaysia. We fervently hope to provide a big gathering for all MMU students and invited guest to come enjoy the very this very happening event.
